My Story

I was a single mom for 8 years, working a full time job that required me to do heavy lifting all day long, I was also taking care of my son and my home.  I began to feel it in my body, I was sore and it felt like my body was seizing up.  Walking was painful and was becoming challenging. I had to quit my job as I was seeking massage therapy weekly to just get through the work week, my yoga practice even became difficult.  I received my 200 YTT  yoga teacher training with Dianne Bondy, and soon realized this is where I belong.  Having to go back to work for one more year was a struggle but through this experience I began volunteering at Hospice where I found true fulfillment.  The most lovely people were in my classes and I began gaining confidence as a yoga teacher.  This is where my experience began as a chair yoga teacher.  As some were limited to a chair, I began to teach a class that included both Chair and Mat so they were all inclusive classes.  An opportunity opened up for me in 2016 and I began to teach Chair Yoga and Gentle Mat Yoga at the local studios.  My own struggles lead me to understand the limitations in our bodies and how we can heal through our breath which is healing and relaxing,  movement for the body to strengthen and improve balance and flexibility.  Taking time before and after class to connect with each other, all lead to a wonderful healing transformation.  My classes are all inclusive, filled with love and compassion for all.

Use the power of your breath to heal and transform.  Move, Strengthen, Improve Balance and Fexibility, Be gentle to yourself during this process.  Take time to connect with others, we are here to share and listen and transform into a healthier community which leads to a wonderful healing transformation.  My classes are all inclusive, filled with love and compassion for all.
